The founder  of the Aussie and Schnauzer cross breed now known as
the Merle Schnauzer was Crystal Costopoulos.
She started the breed in 2006 in the USA.  She also founded the  
Merle Schnauzer Club Of America. witch is known to most as MSCA.

Some people say that the Merle Schnauzer is not a true Schnauzer,
that in-fact it is after  the fifth generation. The Aussie is breed out of
the schnauzer line but will keep the merle color gene. All  purebred
dogs came from a mix of mut's at  first.
It took breeding the some line of dog to get what we call the purebred
dog.
It take many generation to make it a purebred. This is also true with
the Merle Schnauzer today.

The personality of these dogs are no way aggressive, they are very
loving and loyal dogs. These little dogs love the outdoors
and playing with their owners. They also are great with children, as
they tend to protect and look over their homes.
All and all these little animals are great for anyone and  everyone.
